Welcome to our ShamooliDawn™ site!

OK. The boring (but we are told necessary) stuff first. These are the Terms of Use that apply to your use of our site. If you use our site, you’re agreeing to these Terms. If you don’t like them, its simple, p*** off.

Downloading MP3s

We have uploaded our music to the site for your listening pleasure (said in Alan Partridge kinda way). You’re licensed to use each track under the terms of a Creative Commons License. Read the licence to fully understand what you are entitled to do with it, but in short you’re free:

• to download, file-share, copy, and webcast our music

provided that (and here’s the important bit)

• you’re not allowed to sell, alter or make any other commercial use of it
• you’ve got to credit us as the original author
• if you distribute our music, you’ve got to make it clear to others the licence terms on which the work was made available to you.

Privacy

We don’t collect any personal information from you, apart from what you tell us:

(i) when you ‘contact us’; and/or

(ii) sign our guestbook.

If your ‘contact us’ message includes personal information, it’s a total secret. We don’t tell anyone! If you post a message in our – then that’s a different story - in that case everyone gets to see it (doh).

Either way, we don’t sell or rent that information or use it for any other purpose except for, replying to you (if that is what you want)

Disclaimer

Brace yourself. It’s the legal stuff again. We don’t promise you that your access to our site, or our music will be delivered uninterrupted, timely or error-free, or that our site is going to be free from viruses or other harmful stuff. We’ve got enough on our plate just trying to do the music. Just remember if you download our music, and it damages your computer or you lose data as a result – we’re sorry, but that’s your lookout. OK, that’s not what our lawyer said, its more like you agree that, to the extent that the law permits, that we won’t be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or other type loss or injury that results from your downloading or use of any content from our site.

Indemnity

If you do anything to our site that messes up its functioning or stops other users accessing it – we’re going to be very cross. And if it means we have to spend any money to sort out the mess you’ve made, you promise that you’re going to reimburse us for those costs (including any lawyer’s fees that we might have to shell out for).

Changes

We may make changes to these Terms at any time. We’ll let you know what they are by posting them to this page, but it is your job to make sure that you are aware of them, by checking for any changes on a regular basis. Changes will become effective as soon as they are posted. If you continue to use the site after the posting of changes to these Terms, it means that you accept those changes.
